APBD Amendment Will Rise Up to Rp 905 B

Jakarta Provincial Government proposed a supplementary budget of Rp 905 billion in budget amendment. The proposal is currently being discussed by Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD).
"The total proposed budget Amendment is reaching Rp 72.905 trillion, up slightly from the initial nominal reached Rp 72 trillion," said Head of City Development Planning Board (Bappeda), Andi Baso Mappapoleonro, Tuesday (7/1).
The 2014 APBD will Soon Be AnnouncedAccording to Andi, many activities are transferred to other activities because it is not absorbed. One of them is Transjakarta bus purchase in the amount of Rp 3.2 trillion. Its budget will be transferred to the government investment participation (PMP) to PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) amounting to Rp 350 billion.
He added that another PMP will be submitted to PT Jaminan Kredit Daerah (Jamkrida) amounting to Rp 95 billion. As for the PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) amounting to Rp 640 billion, consisting of construction of a mobile refueling unit (MRU) Rp 475 billion and land purchase for flat Rp 165 billion.
Additionally, multiple budget was found in Jakarta Education Department where its amount reached Rp 4 trillion. On the other hand, one of the causes of budget surplus (SILPA) is land acquisition and its budget will be transferred to other activities.
He explained that activities that cannot be realized this year are land acquisition for Ciawi Reservoir amounting to Rp 195 billion. The reason is socialization and discussion with local citizens have not been conducted. "Ciawi Reservoir project has not been realized this year because we have yet to conduct socialization," he told.
As known, the APBD amendment stipulation was targeted to be done before the end of July. This is because Jakarta government only had about 4.5 months to complete the program after stipulation of APBD amendment.
